New in Florida

Got a new '18 Lariat last week and so far all is well. I have a recall notice for the egr on the app, wish the dealer had handled it but I guess it will go into the job jar.

I appreciate all the information here, keep it coming!

Welcome.

I don't recall the F-150 ever being free of EGR issues and seen it coming. Have you owned any f-series products before?

The EGR issue is a loose screw that would fall into the engine, be sure to get that addressed ASAP.

@BluePill yes, lots of Fords. My current stable is a 2010 Grand Marquis, a 2013 F150 XLT and now my 2018 F150 Lariat. This coming spring I will probably sell the Grand Marquis. Great luck so far, the GM has been service free, the 2013 has over 100,000 miles and also trouble free.

@wreedsvt I have an appointment next week for the egr recall. Thanks!
