Block Heater trips GFCI
I got a new F150 diesel last week, and it is as nice and I had hoped. I had a 2014 with the 3.5 engine, and am loving the improved fuel economy.
Anyway, one cold night this week, I plugged in the block heater and it immediately tripped the GFCI. I tried several extension cords, and even my heavy 10 gauge cord was tripping it, so I don't think it was the cord, and the plug is fairly new. I am going to bring it to have it looked at, but wanted to see if this happened to anyone else.
