The 2015 I had was a SC Lariat, 6.5 box 3.31 axle. The dash was giving me a modest reading of 13.1 LPH (18MPG) but the best hand calculated number I could achieve was 15 LPH (15.6MPG). That was 90% summer highway driving no remote starts and no towing.

2018 F150 Platinum Diesel, Bluejeans. Autostop Eliminator. Forscan mods: Double honk disable and DPF status added. Traded in: 2015 F150 Lariat 5.0. Commute car 2006 Jetta TDI

Just have a question on powerstroke warranty.
In reading the details it looks like we get full engine and powertrain up to 160,000 km (100,000) mile?
The dealer was trying to sell me extended warranty as they said it was engine only but I dont think she knew what she was talking about. As it is very clear in the powerstroke warranty.

If this is accurate it really makes the diesel option a lot cheaper. If you were to pay for that on a gas engine you would be a few extra thousand no problem.

Its something I think that gets overlooked by a lot of people when buying a new truck and just looking at the cost of the engine but not the extra warranty.

It is reassuring as my last 2 trucks (2016 and 2012 ecoboost) they both started making grinding noises around 100,000 km and it ends up being a vacuum leak that lets the front hubs partially engage while in 2wd. It is quite a common problem if you google it and according to the powerstroke warranty it would be covered to 160,000.

@Lariat1 - please read thru the Powerstroke Warranty thread where the 5yr/100K Engine warranty is discussed in detail, including how to verify this fact via your VIN-specific OASIS report.

@Lariat1 - congrats on getting your VIN = things are real now!

You should receive delivery in 30-45 days, unless there are more freight delays like there were again in May/June 2019 (don't ask me why I know this)
