I wouldn't doubt electric vehicles sharing the same materials though. They're all about "go green" and being as "eco friendly" as they can.

Sure the f-150 diesel is expected to be more fuel efficient but it's far from being an electric vehicle. But, this seems to be a new trend that automakers are taking. General Motors is using ecycled plastic for radiator shrouds.

Well of course it's far from being an electric vehicle.

I meant in terms of using recycled materials and pretty much garbage compiled stuffings.

Let's hope they process the material like jeans and such properly, wouldn't want jeans stuffed between the panels for insulation.

Lol I'm sure you won't peel the panel back and see some Levis sitting there tucked away comfortably

Let's hope the soy based products last as long as the normal plastics. There are some who keep their vehicles until they run it into the ground.

I sure hope so. That is true though, I've noticed this segment among most if not all, people tend to keep these for a very long time.

Unfortunately that might not be the case, not for those looking for something super high mileage since overall that ends up being the minority. Just ask yourself how many 15+ year old F150's you've seen in the past couple years? I haven't seen that many and most are in horrible condition. Last ones I seen were doing scrap metal runs, landscaping, etc.
