Interior Cabin Road Noise
I rarely carry passengers in the back seats, so in my 2010 F150 5.4 Triton King Ranch I was almost always driving around with the larger rear seat folded in the up position.
With my 2018 F150 3.0 King Ranch, I have noticed that with that same larger rear seat in the upward position I hear more road noise in the cabin than if that seat were folded down. It is almost like Ford expects the rear seats to be down for the cabin to be the most quiet it can be.
I'm starting this new thread because I'd like to hear from the rest of you if you have noticed this as well, or if it is just in my head! It would be great if some of you can experiment with that rear seat in folded up or down and report back if I am nuts or not!
