Oil Change ?

Had my dealer charge the oil in my 2019 . Before leaving I checked the oil level and I was surprised that the oil looked liked it had never been changed. The truck was moved from the service bay to the front of the dealership. I went back in inquired. I was told " its a diesel , they all do that - can't get all the oil out when changing , so the new and old mix.

Don't think I have seen that in any of the diesel tractors on the ranch - which we service ourselves.... it takes a couple of hours before I see any change

I change my own oil and that looks about right. It gets dirty after the first start up. When it's time to change, mine is blacker than that.

I just had mine changed at the dealer and it looked similar to that by the time I got home.

My first changes were always dark right away. The oil is now definitely much cleaner after the last couple changes. Deleted!
