@aaajaws - let me be the first to welcome you here to the forums!

parts.ford.com does show a "different" part # for the block heater on the 2021 models:
Part #: 6A051 Heater Assembly $71.67
Part #: 6B018 Wiring Assembly $142.75

By "different" I mean the Usage shows for models after 10/12/20 (=2021 model year)

Both show available here in the States.

Good luck installing it = installing the wiring harness is a bear

They probably change the parts to make it harder to install. Just kidding. Not really. Welcome to the site!

I just follwed the above links says Does not fit you vechilce ???
I just followed the above links says Does not fit you vehicle???
I don't have your VIN, so I just changed "My Vehicle" to a 2021 F150 w/3.0L V6 Lion Diesel Engine and did the search = this is what popped up:
Font Metal Auto part Cylinder Brand

Usage field lines up with a 2021 model:
Usage: 10/12/2020, F150, 3.0L 4V DOHC V6 TC DSL-LION B, Immersion Heater-110V
Have your dealer's Parts Manager look up in Ford's internal system to verify/confirm

Going there now to my local dealr Thank you I called Fordparts.com and thats what they gave me too
Ford uses same generic part number for same type of part = it was same part number for 2018 models: JL3Z-6A051
  • JL3Z is the code for the 3.0L V6 4V Diesel Lion engine
  • 6A051 is the generic part number for an engine Block Heater Assembly
  • If there are revisions/differences, they will add a letter suffix to the end of the part number
You can see the part #s for the 2018-2020 models if you enlarge the RO pic here:
Recall 19S11/CSP 19G01: Engine Block Heater Cord

Part numbers for the Block Heater and associated Wiring harness are the same => If there are any differences between 2018-2020 and 2021 models for these parts, it would be:
  • 4 character engine prefix
  • 1-character revision suffix

Awesome, two Dealers said on National back order so I will see what I can find on the web. THANK YOU very much for digging into this . I def found the right place to ask questions on this forum (y)(y)
Well parts are both on order through Fordparts.com One dealer said they wont install even if I bought it from them . Said dealer wrecked an engine some how after an install and said they wont do it anymore .... I found that very odd. I have a good local garage and the owner is one of the smartest wrenchers I know so I will bring it to him. Im not gonna lay of the ground in the snow. ( and Im not that smart) I hear the hardest part if figuring out how to run the wire through the bumper. found a good step by step here on the forum. AGain thank you for your help and I will post my final outcome. Mean time just filled her up again neck to neck 28.5 mpg mixed driving .

its locked on with the two clips
The block heater and cord I received for my 2019 did not have the rings on the block heater nor the clips on the cord. Looks like some good improvements. But, could be a challenge to release the clips on an installed block heater considering how buried the block heater is when installed.

Luckily my truck is barand new but there was no Block heater installed, IMO its should be installed in every 3.0L diesel. So much cheaper easier to do on the assembly line you never know where the truck will take you or where the truck will end up . Bought in KS to bring to NH.

I took a look at pictures I took during my installation of the block heater . . . and I'm incorrect with the statement above. The block heater I installed does have the rings, but the cord I received a year ago didn't have the clip I see in the pictures by aaajaws.
