If the diesel f150 is similar to the current outgoing f150 models then it'll probably have a ground clearance of around 221-239 mm. That's enough for some but I'm wondering if anyone will lift theirs a couple of inches more?

Thinking about adding a 6” BDS to my King Ranch. This is my first brand new truck, previously was driving a 97 F250. Does anyone know or care to explain how Ford handles the factory warranty or service program if a lift is added? Is there only potential for the warranty to be voided if there is a mechanical failure?

I'm assuming those planning lifts and larger tire sizes are purchasing their trucks with the 3.55 axle ratio instead of the 3.31 axle ratio?

BDS does not currently offer a lift for our Powerstroke diesels. Why it matters for their lifts, I have no idea.

Also, with a BDS lift you will retain a suspension warranty. Their kits are killer.

I very much want to get a BDS lift for my truck, but for now I am settling for my level and have plans to squeeze in some 34" Nittos.. It's a daily driver anyhow so a lift for the highway is kinda pointless. Still want one though. Funny how that works.

I just got an '18 King Ranch. I put a Fox Adjustable leveling kit with Bilstein 5100's all around. It definitely gave it better road manners and tightened up the ride. Loving the quiet of a truck on road tires. My '14 Lariat has a 6" BDS Lift, Fox coilovers, 4.10 gears and
Toyo 35" R/T's. Just a shout out on those tires. I just put on the third pair ( 130k miles) Both sets lasted 65k, and had > 20k left on them. They just get a little loud at that point. Stuck with that '14, cause it's worth way more to me than book. Drove all the $$ value out of that.

You are right. My sales guy had said, either/ or. I messed it up. So I did get the Bilstein 5100 set up. 1,000 miles on them now. Truck handles like a '65 Galaxy, and I knew it was a mistake after the first corner. Absolutely sucks ****. The Great people at Eastern Off Road , in VA Beach, are crediting me back my entire investment against an Icon coilover setup. I'm too spoiled by the coilover ride on my "14 ECO, that I can't settle for less. This is the picture I took to sell my 130K mile Eco, with a 6" BDS lift, 4.10 gears, and Fox Coilovers. It's such an awesome ride I kept it to DD, and leave the ATS-V in the garage.
