@mbates6o post on Disabling ASS (Auto Start/Stop) via FORScan affecting the BMS (Battery Management System) had me check FordPass app to see if Ford was sending me hate mail. I've had my ASS disabled since Spring of 2019 and haven't had any issues, nor has my dealer said anything in the past 4 or 5 times my truck has been in for service since then.

I didn't find anything related to the BMS in FordPass, but I did notice a new Customer Satisfaction Program (CSP) Campaign 20M04 for Power Door Locks. Not much more detail than the title in My Garage in owner.ford.com or in the FordPass app.

Anyone else get this CSP in their FordPass app or have more details?

I received the same csp in my Fordpass app, no other details. 2018 PS F150
Happened to be passing by my dealer & had some time, so I stopped in to get details on this CSP: Ford is in effect extending the warranty on these parts to 10 yr/150K miles (whichever comes first)

Ford has been revamping their owner.ford.com website and have been making it known they want feedback on owner.ford.com and the FordPass app, so I left this them feedback today:

Why have you taken away the description of the FSA/CSP Campaigns?

I recently noticed my truck is eligible for CSP 20M04 (Power Door Lock Actuator Failure) and there is NOTHING beyond the title. How am I supposed to know what to do? Do I need to bring my truck in for service? Is it going to catch fire?

The only way I determined what Campaign # 20M04 entailed was to stop by my dealer and specifically ask.

Likewise for Campaign #19N06, there used to be a full description indicating if you had issues with your door latch freezing to bring your truck in for free replacement of door latch parts. That detailed description no longer exists either --- again just a title with ZERO description.

In this day and age of information technology, whose brilliant idea at Ford was to strip the CSA descriptions? Stupid...

After conferring with my fellow moderators, I created a new sub-forum specifically for recalls, FSAs (Field Service Actions), and CSPs (Customer Satisfaction Programs) where existing threads have been moved and new threads should be created: 2018+ Ford F150 Diesel Recalls/FSAs/CSPs

Prior to this, various recall and FSA threads were created under various sub-forums, which become lost/buried over time, and we thought having a sub-forum dedicated to just recalls/FSAs/CSPs is something both new & existing members can reference quickly without having to hunt for them.

I have moved/merged/renamed most of the important recall/FSA/CSP threads over to this new location and will continue to move older threads as I come across them. Now that there are all in one spot, I renamed all threads to be consistent with the word Recall or FSA or CSP along with the corresponding number as the first 2 words in the title = hopefully this makes things easier to find/consume. Click on the link above and check it out!

Please let us know what you think of this idea or if there is anything else we can do to make these forums better.

Not sure whether this deserves a new thread to its own, but just a gentle reminder to everyone that the first F150 PSDs (PowerStroke Diesels) started shipping in June/July of 2018, so if you have any outstanding issues with your truck, you should schedule service now before your 3 yr Bumper-to-Bumper warranty expires.

While I factory-ordered mine in Jan 2018, I didn't take delivery until the 3rd week of September in 2018. so I have a few months before I hit the 3yr limit, which I'll hit first as I'm only at 31K miles.

Might be stating the obvious but everyone is busy, so don't let your warranty end date sneak up on you and miss out on a free repair on Ford's dime.

This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
