My 2017 Fi50 diesel, while idling, the engine will raise its RPM to 1100 to 1300 and start blowing smoke out of the exhaust. If I am in the truck and touch the brakes it will slow back down to the normal 750. Other then that it runs perfect. 15000 miles.

You aren't losing any oil are you? I have seen turbo seals start leaking and the engine can speed up due to the oil being sprayed in. Worst case scenario is a run away diesel.

I don't know if this is possible in our diesels, it is in army trucks.

could be going to high ilde rpm at idle to warm up...
Could be you really have a f250 that is trying to go into regen.

F150 Diesel was not available in 2017 to my knowledge

That is a low mileage for a 2017...

It doesn't use any oil. I guess the secrete is to not let it sit and idle. I shouldn't anyway but for right now it is my office!

Its regening probably. Not driving it enough to clean DPF filter. You may want to look into upgrading the exhaust system. PM me.
