I have a large dog that loves to sit in the passenger seat (please avoid the lectures)...


The seat belt alarm goes on forever. To make matters worse she likes to sit in the front for a while then move to the back then return to the front - so the alarm time out restarts.


There are "universal" clips that they sell, but when you dig further it seems that they are not applicable to the new Ford trucks.



Any other solutions out there ?

Do you do any forscan modifications? There is an easy way to disable either driver or passenger alerts at

Also the 2018 Owners Manual lists a procedure to turn the alerts off on page 42 and 43.
