Has anybody had any issues with their doors either not opening or latching closed? I just experienced this for the first time on my driver rear door. First it wouldn’t open then once it did a few hours later it would close. After a good 20 minutes it finally latched closed. It happened again today. Opened right away but wouldn't close and took even longer for it to stay closed. After some googling I’m reading this has been an issue since the new 2015 body style change. Apparently it’s a cold weather issue? But really it’s a 2018 and this still hasn’t been addressed?
Any advice here. Dealer fixes? Type of penetrating lubes?

@RBaker - was definitely a problem on my 2015 F150 Platinum that was addressed by FSA 17S33 before I traded it in for my 2018 F150 Platinum PS Diesel.

If I remember correctly, they replaced the cables/rods and added a plastic cover over the door latch assemblies to prevent any water getting by the window wiper seals from freezing up the door latch. I never had any issues with my 2015 but my buddy at work with a 2016 F150 Lariat had the same problems you are having.

The FSA indicates it affected F150s made from March 2014 thru December 2016, so not sure how this could be the same exact issue, but maybe there is a "new" door latch issue.

Bring it into your dealer for a warranty claim under your 3yr/36k "bumper-to-bumper" warranty.
