I have a 18 mile one way daily commute on an interstate. I started noticing that the dpf filter fills up quickly. For instance, started at 0% and within first 10 miles it went to 50. Last 8 miles stayed at 50. Is this normal? I have 31k on it and it’s a 2018.
Mine acts the same way, 0 to 50% takes no time and it slows after that. It is not the same as it was when new but has not caused me any problems.
I think this is some of the reason that Ford decided to hide this information from us when new.
Yes mine does this as well. Did a regen yesterday, I then drove about 10 km and it said 25% already, and sometimes 95% lasts for 100 km. Overall distance between regens however is pretty consistent for me, so its all good.
