I was out driving this am, in a rain storm, it was dark and breezy and rain, out of no where I got a collision warning with all the bells and whistles, there was no one on the road but me. Has this happened to any one else?
I believe I’ve read this came happen if you get something covering a sensor. Maybe it was a leaf covering a sensor or water got in somewhere and made the sensor more sensitive than usual? My comment isn’t specific to Fords, I’ve heard of other manufactures with sensors having these kinds of issues in weather. Maybe see if it goes away or take it to the dealer.
I just had this happen this morning, didn't even know that system was in my truck. Clear day, no oncoming traffic. There were some cars parked on the side of the road on an inside curve.
