We're still waiting for the 2017 Ford F-150 Diesel, but before they go on sale we can still look at accessories and plan out what we're going to add to the pickup.

Running boards are a definite for me and maybe some window visors.

Window visors I find necessary, as a smoker, they come in super handy to have when it's raining lol. The other things will probably be a lot of lighting. I like lights lol. Strobes are a definite
Probably a body color tonneau cover, always did like how they blended in with the rest of the truck. LED light bar will depend on how the diesel f-150's grille looks. I like to place them in gaps so they're not jutting out.
Bull bars for me since I plan to make a lot of long trips and you just never know when you'll have a deer run out at you, then in the city I don't have to worry about someone hitting my truck trying to park in front... plus it looks cool
Never liked the way body colored tonneau covers looked. They make me feel like the truck isn't used for what it is and it's just one of those flashy things. But nonetheless, that's just a stereotype in my head, it really doesn't mean anything ! Preferences vary among everyone :)
@BluePill , plan on anything like road armour or go rhino stuff ?
Almost forgot about bull bars, those are a necessity up north with moose and deer. My friend's car hit a deer and it was declared a total loss. can't imagine what a moose will do to the f150.
Here's this one guy that hit a deer at around 65mph whilst hauling a 5000lb trailer

That's exactly why I like trucks since if this was a small SUV, Crossover or even a sedan regardless of how big/small it is, that windshield would have been easily compromised and at that point we know what happens and it isn't pretty.

Rhino has some nice bumper guards that'll protect against large animals and hopefully, they'll bounce right off the front. Worth the investment if you do a lot of country driving.

Haven't ever seen one installed or shown anywhere but that is quite interesting ! It'll help on the passenger side where people just love to slam doors.. :|
Too bad that Ford hasn't done it yet because Lincoln already does and with that being the case you would think it spreads. Do you guys think this is something we will see in a future year model? I really hope its not something we get later on, like in a mid-cycle refresh.
