Unless you're brand new to the segment, these prices really shouldn't come as that much of a surprise. I do find it hard to believe that a diesel with 10 gears and an aluminum body still cant manage to get 30mpg on the highway. Maybe the EPA is in part to blame?
F150 Diesel on and off road review-TFL
The Fast Lane Truck posted up this driving review of the new diesel F150 awhile back. From the comments it looks like there are a lot of concerns over its pricing, and I agree that it is ridiculous that the XL and XLT are reserved to fleet customers. I just don't know if Ford has done enough over the Ecoboost to warrant a $72k price tag.
