New to the forum and looking to get my first truck. With the recent diesel trucks that have come to market and good gasoline options, I will be weighing out what I like and don't like about them, and of course sharing it here. If you have any input or direction on what I should do, please share it here.

Currently driving around in a 2006 Toyota 4Runner.

You'll have an easier time deciding one Ford reveals the F150 Diesel and its specs. Do you plan to get a Leer cap for your truck since your 2006 Toyota 4Runner is an enclosed vehicle?

Really hard to tell right now due to the serious lack of information out there.. But I've always had a secret love for the Ram.. I can see your dilemma

Won't need a leer cap since I no longer have any need for an enclosed rear end. The bed will be used for storing fishing equipment and anything else we'll need when going up to the cottage. Aside from that there's nothing else aside from the random.

Nice, so a regular hard tonneau cover is sufficient !

I was looking at the RAM 1500 diesel. One thing that helps is its out and owners have racked up a good amount of miles. That alone gives those interested a lot to go off of and come to a conclusion.

Still have yet to do my analysis.

I can definitely see that, Maybe lease one until we get enough information on this Diesel F150 ?

has anyone heard about Toyota coming to market with a diesel Tundra? With all the hype around the Tundra and the growth of diesels in the market place it seems almost expect of them to launch a diesel and soon, Nissan already brought one to market.

I haven't even thought about the toyota Tundra when it comes to pickups. Could be an option if the Ford diesel f150 isn't what I'm looking for.
