@Sledhunter - there have been a few discussions on this topic in the past:
You may want to peruse earlier threads for information rather than starting a new thread for your latest thought, as a lot of new ownership topics have been discussed previously = use the Advanced Search capability under Tools pull-down

I just finished my first case (of 24 8oz bottles) of Stanadyne Performance Formula, and planning to order another case. Even though it didn't fair well in the infamous Spicer Study, I am concerned with more than just Lubricity in a diesel fuel additive.

I use Stanadyne performance as it's a good all around additive. I then toss in an extra splash of the lubricity formula to make sure the pump is well taken care of. No issues so far, but then again haven't driven it far enough to really see the benefits.

Stanadyne or OptiLube are always at the top of the list on lab test results for best diesel additives.

As I plan on pre-ordering the new Titan 40 gal XXL tank for my 2018 Platinum F150 PS Diesel w/5.5' bed tomorrow, this is what I ordered from Thoroughbred Diesel who happen to running a 10% off Labor Day weekend sale this weekend:
  • Stanadyne Performance Formula - "One Shot" 8oz Bottle (CASE of 24 Bottles) - Treats 30 gallons of diesel fuel per bottle - 38564C
  • Stanadyne Lubricity Formula - "One Shot" 8oz Bottle (CASE of 24 Bottles) - Treats 15 gallons of diesel fuel per bottle - 38559C
Figuring with the new 40 gallon fill-up, I will use one (1) bottle of each so that the combination of both will
a.) Make up for the Lubricity deficiency in the Performance Formula
b.) Cover (with some safety factor) the new Titan 40 gallon XXL tank capacity
and with my driving habits, this should last me one (1) year.
