Looks like GDE is back! Emissions-on tuning only for all platforms, though if an emissions-on tune is good enough I don't really see a need for deleting.
We are finishing up the emission certification at an outside lab. After this is complete the tuning will be ready. Congruently, we are working to have the Alientech PG3 flash tool configured to deploy the engine and trans tunes together. This item is still pending Alientech's timeframe.
38hp, 90 ftlb over stock. It is roughly 1.8 seconds quicker 0-60 mph. Many changes to the transmission shift strategy for normal mode and tow/haul mode as they seem to be lacking from the factory.
Does the GDE Hot Tune for the 3.0 PS have any effect on the factory ECM tune forcing a DPF regen every 300 miles? This is my biggest complaint with the truck, watching it go into regen when the DPF soot load is 20-30% just because it's been driven 300 miles since the last regen.
Also, you mention that the factory 'skip-shifting' is eliminated. Is this for both up and down shifts?
Sweet Baby Jesus! Christmas has come early this year and the GDE tune is finally here!
