Since I can't seem to delete this post???!! I will answer my own question, YES, Mann says the HU 826 is the replacement to Motorcraft FL-2081, even the o-ring. No surprise I suppose since Mann makes the Ford version too...
Mann filter o-ring
Does anyone know if the o-ring is the same on the Mann HU 826X oil filter? The cartridge is exactly the same as Fl-2081, but anyone know on the o-ring? Thanks
