@Bucsfan552 - welcome aboard to the forums! I'm just next door to you in the Mid-Hudson Valley region of NY and pass thru CT on my way home ot MA quarterly.

We have a small but growing set of new F150 PS Diesel owners here who are all learning this new engine & emmission systems on the F150 platform. Luckily we also have some members with previous diesel ownership experience. These forums works best when share our onwership experiences and knowlege if you are an expert in the topic being discussed. My 2018 F150 PS Platinum is my first diesel vehicle, and like you, I am always looking to learn more.

Thank you All.. I bought it in late May and just did my first oil change this weekend at 4800 miles (44% oil life). No complaints at all. Very happy with the truck.. Have had 2 Silverado's previously ('03 & '08). Glad I have gone back to Ford. I am going to try some FORScan programming this weekend. The engine shutoff when stopping drives me nuts.

I don’t understand the ASS hatred. It takes maybe 2 seconds to push the button to disable it.

I was in a 45 minute to travel 4 miles due to an accident and I was thankful I had it.

Don’t permanently disable something you may wish you had later.... quit being completely lazy and refuse to move your arm a little to disable it. i do when it is appropriate.

Engine and drivetrain is under warranty for 5 year 50,000 so let ford worry about it if you think it will cause problems with turbo or belt or starter life.

Just my opinion,
