Hi. I bought my F150-D about 6 months ago. I love it! Moving from southern Ontario to the north gave me lots of opportunity to tow and being up here during the -40C weather let me see how it perform in the the ultra cold. So far so good. I'm the only one up here that has a F150 diesel but there are plenty of 250 & 350s running around. Anyways looking forward to discussing the ins and outs of this truck.

Interesting how you joined the forum 6 months after buying your truck and I joined the forum 7 months before buying mine! I can tell you when I joined over a year ago that there was almost no post activity in the forum, like crickets for weeks on end (of course very few even took delivery of their trucks at that earlier time). Now we have a pretty good member base here, and very good knowledge exchange taking place.

That’s great! I just bought my 3.0 power stroke. Going to pick it up in 2 weeks. I also live in Northern Ontario - Chapleau to be exact. Nice to meet you all!

I just posted on Facebook, power stroke group, there is a list of the 3.0s with EGR damage over on dieself150forum.com. Got alot of responses "there is a forum now just for them?!"

Luckily for me, I haven't run into any EGR problems. I did get the recall done, and the mechanic that did it had completed the recall on 3 of their unsold models before doing mine. So he had a chance to learn the job.
