Just picked up a new leftover 2019 F150 yesterday with the powerstroke. I bought it out of state so had a few hours behind the wheel getting used to it on the way home. So far love it other than wishing it had about 100 more horsepower (don't we all?) and then my check engine light came on with 120 miles on the odometer! Hoping to get my friend with a scanner to determine what's going on later today and then tomorrow morning I guess I may be at my local Ford diesel first thing. Looking forward to gaining a lot of knowledge on these trucks here! My only past diesel truck was a Dodge with the 5.9 Cummins but it's like comparing apples to lobsters.

@lawdog - welcome to the forums here and sorry to hear you are throwing CEL codes so soon into your F150 PS Diesel ownership. If you know someone with an ODBii adapter and software, post back with the CEL codes and we'll try to get you steered in the right direction. Since your truck is a 2019 leftover, you should be well beyond EGR Bypass valve FSA that the early 2018 adopters had to endure. Good luck and post back!

Thanks for the reply! Yes my neighbor has a scanner and he looked at it and got a P0471 which said Exhaust pressure sensor? He cleared the code and it lasted about 24 hours before it came back on
