What is the going dealer rate for oil change in your area? I just got this coupon from my local dealer, not too shabby a price as they do specify diesel service,

I am down to 34% oil life but I have everything here, so DIY. Walmart is still out of Rotella T6 but I have some. They also will rotate tires and fill all fluids. I assume that means DEF also. Not too bad a deal actually

Yeah I was excited a couple weeks ago when I received a similar coupon. Two days after paying $125 to get it changed at dealership. The deal expires at the end of July, even though I am not getting great mileage between oil changes. Less than 5k. Hopefully I won’t need another one before the end of July.

That’s a great deal, especially if they use the recommended Ford Motorcraft oil. You can't buy the oil and filter from the dealer for that price, and you don't have to get dirty and then dispose of the oil afterwards.

Counterpoint: Your oil will likely be changed by the dealership's lot lizard or apprentice mechanic. Said employee will never have read the procedure for oil filter installation on a 3.0L. It is likely that this is the first diesel F-150 they have ever laid hands on. Even if it costs more, I'll be changing the oil myself.
