I’m about to take my truck out after sitting for 3 months and wanted to know if anyone has a method of disconnecting something so it won’t start but primes the engine oil? Basically is their a means of turning it over so it doesn’t start?
I had mine stored for 5 months for last winter on a battery tender and when it started it was the same as i shut it off the day before. No noises or anything weird.
Figured out a method that works. Removed the fuel pump fuse (#50) and then turned it over twice at about 5 secs each. Reinstalled the fuse and fired right up with immediate oil pressure. May not have been required but I feel better for having done it.
