I've got about 7100 miles on my truck now, and when I drop it off for service on Friday, I'll have them refill my DEF blue which is under about an 1/8th as shown on the gauge. This will be my second refill. I'd say about 75% of the miles I've done have been highway -- I'm curious as to what others are seeing in terms of DEF usage. I've probably done about 1000 miles max of towing in this (8x4 U-Haul, lightly loaded).

Not much to add as I am nowhere near topping off but I saw this tip somewhere (probably here) to get the Ford DEF nozzle to assure no mess, so I bought one on Amazon for $7.29. It is stored under the back seat.

Isn't def supposed to be consumed at a rate of about 1% of fuel?

I don't want to start an online feud, but my dad buys DEF blue at Walmart and I get Motorcraft DEF from my local dealer for same price. This is just a FYI, not pushing one or the other as they both work. Just saying my Ford dealer is competitive and I would not be saving money shopping Walmart.

I buy mine at the pump from the local Kenworth dealership, freshest around.
