I would appreciate your feedback on your satisfaction with your diesel. I am looking at a 2019 KR and am a bit gun shy due to initial release time problems. It would appear from afar that those initial issues have been resolved. Thoughts?

There is a specific build date range with the EGR recall that I believe ended 10/9/18, so if the build date on the 2019 it would not be in the recall window.

I came from a 2010 5.4 KR and absolutely love my 2018 3.0 KR.

Welcome to the forum. There is a lot of valuable info in this forum that if studied can help you get comfortable with your decision. Learning and using FORScan allows you to make some mods to Ford's off the showroom floor programming that makes the truck that much more to love. In fact, one of our forum members ended up getting Ford to buy back his first truck because of having issues and it in the shop too much, and made a statement that once he picked up his new 3.0 that the first thing he noticed immediately were all the missing FORScan mods he had done.

If you decide to pull the trigger on the purchase you will love this truck!

Cheers!

That would be me. I have completed all the "needed" changes in forscan and what a difference. I love my "new" folding mirrors, all the subtile Sync 3 changes, bambi and so on. And the price is right, LOL

Thanks, mates! Really comforting news. Had many F-150s over the years, but unfortunately purchased a Ram 1500 ecodiesel. Really nice ride, but what a "ride" this engine has been. Closing in on a 2019 KR 3.L and your feedback closes the deal. Again, thank you. I am looking forward to learning.

You will love your truck. Configure the truck with Forscan the way you want it and you will love it even more.

I have a 2018 KR loaded and could NOT BE HAPPIER. Just waiting for Green Diesel Engineering to finish with their development and another 3–4 MPG.

My son has an EcoDiesel with GDE tune and it does what they say it does. Better mileage and only one regen per tank.

He is getting mid 30’s on the road.
