Yep. Had my first run-in with one yesterday and it was everything I hoped! The engine was so quiet, it's going to be a dream on long trips.

Where did you see one? Was it one that someone ordered?
I have a friend who does new vehicle training for dealerships and he came by to let me check it out. I already know I love the 2018 King Ranch but it was cool to see it with the power stroke badge on it and be able to hear how quiet it is. Also, on the 18 mile trip to meet me he averaged 32 mpg...short bed 4x2
That’s awesome. Ordered mine almost two months ago and the wait is killing me. Looks like we are getting closer to delivery!
Also, did he give any insight into when they will be on dealerships lots?
I'm afraid there are no delivery dates available yet.
I have heard from a couple of places that deliveries will start in May.
That sounds about right. My dealers first 4 allocations haven't even been assigned a VIN yet or selected for build
My order status hasn't changed either. Still waiting for a VIN. The rumor I heard from one source said they will enter the system for a VIN some time later this month. But we'll see.

Wow thats some pretty incredible fuel economy on a pickup. No wonder truck enthusiasts swear by diesels. Glad to hear that it also runs pretty quiet because thats been an area of concern for me.
I was told trucks go in to production each Thursday starting last week for the Kansas plant. I have a priority 1 I believe on my build and it has not been started yet.
So are you saying they started producing them last Thursday?
Actually a week or two prior in Detroit and last week in Kansas city is what I have been told.
Have they given you an approximate ETA? I've also heard that they should be hitting dealerships early this summer, just wondering how long the build process is.

Down south in FL they will be getting these around Spring, although no official date or week range has been reported. If your dealer sends out newsletters it might be good to get on for initial Diesel F150 arrivals.
