Just ordered this. Seller said it has DPF on and off programming. Going to run DPF ON at first.

Interested to hear your results, Ive been planning on going with stealth module just for warranty reasons.
That eBay link states "This part is not compatible with 2018 Ford F-150 King Ranch Crew Cab Pickup 4-Door 3.0L 2993CC 183Cu. In. V6 DIESEL DOHC Turbocharged."?

I'm assuming that the Compatibility lookup is in error as it sounds like @wreedsvt talked directly with the seller.
Yes
I am having error issues with my bdx after the last transmission changes. Throws an error out and says it can't find the vehicle info. It's in a que to be fixed but I haven't checked back in a while. I was working very nicely before the recall
You have the diesel?

Did you leave it in when you took your truck in? They probably reflashed the ECM and now your BDX is bricked. You will need to send to SCT/dealer for them to reset it. When Ford flashes the ECM with IDS, you must always remove the tune/programmer, and reinstall afterwards.
It was removed when it went in and back to stock. Its a common issue they are working through. Yes I have the diesel.
Hmm making me think if I should just get the NGauge now and be done with it.

How did you like the power from the BDX? Where did you send it to?
I really liked it. Claimed gains were 50hp and 98lb/ft and you could feel it for sure. Better shift patterns as well. I was really happy, this has me thinking I will give them a call and see if its been fixed yet. Probably has, I am really just waiting for the EGR recall before I was going to tune it again because the strategy codes are likely to change once they do the recall and the tuner needs those codes to build the tune.

I had 5 star tuning build my tune, they email it all you do is upload to the tuner and flash ECU and your done.

I would buy the BDX from them, if you go the ebay route do they include tunes? If they don't just go to 5 star for everything. When I bought mine(from a online canadian store tdotperformance) I was under the impression it had some preloaded tunes but for the diesel it does not and I had to source a tuner. At 5 star you get 3 tunes and the tuner for 550.
Wait so why even go the tuner route if you are gaining the same claims as the stealth module that won't void your warranty?? Interesting though, I would've thought the ECM tuners would've been doing more than 50/100. Waiting to see how the member on here that ordered the stealth likes it when he gets it in.
I plan on deleting the DPF and EGR at some point and this gave me flexibility for later mods. Mind you I haven't done any research on the stealth module so it may be capable for these options as well.

Also the BDX can do diagnostics, datalog ect for when/if the time comes.
Gotcha, that makes sense! The Stealth module can't do deletes so you went the correct route.
The engine logs how it was operating. Nothing is stealth my friend.

5 Star told me they dont do DPF delete, who were you going to get your tunes from?

FYI when I took mine into Ford, they also did a FSA/Recall for a ECM Update. My truck left with alot more power. So there def is a newer calibration from Ford out there.
Well I was hoping 5 star was going to be able to do it. I guess I will be on the google and start looking for one that will. I don't plan to do the delete for a while just in case we have more recalls and such. Good to know about the new firmware update hope mine gets it once it goes under the knife for the EGR valve.

As far as the data logging I haven't done any yet. Hadn't really had time between flashing it and recalls ect. I think once it's all back up and running g I will do some with factory configuration and some with it tuned and look at the data.

I was talking to the other guy in regards to data logging and the stealth module.

The BDX I bought on ebay the seller said has both DFP ON and OFF tuning in one tuner. Might want to check it out. Glad we are finally getting options for these, BDX, NGauge(GDP and BDP), EZLynk(Duramaxtuner).
Im sure there will be alot more over time.

Can you look on your paperwork and see if there is a part number or something for the calibration you received? I mentioned this to my advisor since mine is stuck until they get the correct gaskets and got the typical advisor speak without going into details.

Thanks
I think I threw it away. It was popping up on my Ford App as a Recall. Can you check that? What is your VIN? If you dont want to post it PM it to me, let me do some searching.

If I search mine, nothing comes up as it was already taken care of.

I also just asked my inside Ford contact to search for and send me a copy of the FSA for ECM updates.
I have the recall on my app but nothing about a re-flash. I was hoping the flash number or part number or whatever you want to call it would have been on your paperwork.
