So, truck keeps throwing DTC P24D1 up after the SES light illuminates. Truck tried a regen on the interstate the first time, and I cleared the code. After hitting the interstate again later in the day, it went without a hitch. Soon it started the SES and DTC all over. The dealer replaced the sensor in the DPF. Two days after getting fixed, BINGO! Back again. Then they switched out the plug to the sensor. I got one active regen at 98% soot load, when I typically regen at 58-62% soot load, and here we go again. Any ideas? All four EGT probes in the system generally read the same temp cold, but the probe after the SCR reads weird numbers higher than the probe ahead of the DPF sometimes, but only when raising the idle while parked. I’m about done taking this thing in with this Covid crap. Ford has no history of issues, and says my Magnaflow muffler delete could be the issue... or the S&B intake. I disagree. This ain’t my first rodeo.

You could try a forced manual regen with Forscan.

Also search that code on the 6.7 forums. It could lead to similar issue and fix.

I activated the regen on/off in the IPS using forscan so I can see the EGR filter status. I can see why Ford doesn't have this visible to the driver, it's kind of like monitoring your blood pressure constantly, it can drive you a little crazy. So unless you are willing to deactivate the auto regen until you have a 30+ minute drive to regen adequately it doesn't have much value really. I have also done once a driveway (it is a bit loud) regen and it worked fine and regen to 0%. I do believe some of the regen's have started anywhere from 85 to 100% and maybe stopped anywhere from 0 to 30% but not certain as this was a casual observation. Once again, probably why Ford doesn't want owners obsessing over it...
