The diesel pickup truck market is set for a new competitor: the Ford F-150.
A new spy video has caught an F-150 prototype testing on the streets of Oakwood, MI with the unmistakable diesel rumble coming from under the hood.
Rumor has it that it will be a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel that was developed by Ford and Land Rover before the brands split up. The engine is currently used in the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, where it makes 254 hp and 440 lb-ft of torque.
