Hi guys,

I currently drive a 2003 Ram 3500 5.9 L Cummins which I bought brand new. Now has over 300,000 km and driving as good as new despite the terrible winters we get up here in Canada with the salt and everything. I am now considering selling it and looking at alternatives. I kind of like the smaller diesels like Ram eco diesel and the upcoming Ford Euro Powerstroke. GM is as always following behind others...
We have heard about the F150 Diesel for over two years, but one has yet to hit the pavement... Marketing guys can't hold their horses until it's time I suppose!
Anyway, I am anxious to hear from real owners with real miles under the belt to tell us like it is!

Glad to join the Forum,
Ivan

Welcome to the forum man, glad to see another member interested in Fords upcoming diesel 150. I know its been confirmed that dealerships should start seeing the new models come Spring. Obviously which dealerships see it first, will come down to luck.

It's going to be a while until we get some real world fuel economy numbers of the F-150 diesel since it's not even on sale yet. I'm surprised your 2003 Ram 3500 is still going strong after so many miles on the clock. Should be good enough to get you from point a to b until the Ford diesel arrives.

Ordered a Platinum Diesel on Feb 3rd, anxiously awaiting news of this build ( or any other news at this point). Only hting I have heard so far is a Canadian web site ( maybe 2 weeks ago) stated that diesel production had started, seen nothing else since then.
