I myself am pretty disappointed that this truck wasn't sold more. I've been following this truck since release, and had not once seen a commercial or any sort of advertisement displaying this power platform. That and the fact that in the beginning you could only get it in the Lariat trim or above pushing at almost 55-60k+. Most would just jump over to the super duty platform for that price.
In terms of parts availability, I am not too worried. This engine has been around for quite some time over seas. So I would think one way or another it shouldn't be hard to obtain parts for it. I plan on keeping this for at least 20+ years unless I suddenly need to pull more than just my race car.
