Just decided to start a thread to see what everyone will be getting rid of in order to get the F150 Diesel. Me personally am getting rid of a Jeep GC. Going to need the bed and I'm sure the efficiency of it will be a lot better too ! Will you guys just be adding to the stable or will you be replacing ?

Depends on how much the F-150 diesel will cost. I would like to add it to the stable beside me sedan daily driver but if I have to let something go, it may be the sedan as it just doesn't have enough space to fit my gear. Camping, winter sports, etc.
The wife and I are sharing a 2006 Toyota 4Runner and it's our only vehicle. Whatever truck I end up getting will be our 2nd vehicle, my personal vehicle (she doesn't like pick up's for some weird reason, don't ask).
No real need for a truck right now but once we start looking for a cottage next year, trailers, boats, etc. will be hauled with the truck I choose.

I was hoping the F150 hybrid was released by now or soon enough but although we saw a test mule there's still no word on when it will come out, nothing definite.

Light trailers, small boats, etc. overall medium duty towing and it should at least be good for that since the overall demo will want to do some light-medium duty towing. Anything more and its completely understandable to go upsegment a bit just to be confident in towing capabilites.
Once it's medium-duty you definitely should be fine. People tow things of that sort with SUVs even. We used to use my Jeep (4.0L straight-six) to haul our trailer and boat all over the place and it did it relatively easily. That's with like 190hp and 230lb-ft of torque (brand new, now it's obviously greatly diminished)
That's another big thing as well..
Seen tons of accidents in regards to hauling that result from things aside from tow capacity. Gotta know how to position things, and how to actually handle it on the road !
I doubt people are going to be trying to haul industrial excavators with em' anyhow lol

May need to get rid of the sedan anyways, or the motorcycle to make sure the F-150 can physically fit into the garage without scratching something.
