F150 3.0 issues with miles

I am new to this forum but have read posts for a while. I am in the market to buy a used F150 with the 3.0. I currently have a 2014 with the 3.5 eco with 325,000 miles and have had hardly any issues with it, other than poor fuel mileage. Can anyone give me some feedback how your diesel is holding up with high miles? Any important things to look for as the mileage goes up? I plan on keeping it for a long time if I do make the purchase. Thanks

I just bought a 2018 Lariat with 168K miles. Besides the milage, it is in pristine condition. From what I have gleaned from the Web and others is that if you change the fuel filters regularly and oil it should last a long long time. I plan on 3K oil and filter changes.

Texas Rebel: Were the timing belts changed before you bought your truck? They should have been done by 150,000 miles. One in the front and one in the rear, iiRC

Yes. The dealer printed out the Carfax and the belts were replaced at 125K. 9 pages of Carfax, it's been well maintained. I think I scored big.

I have 316,000 km on mine. I’ve had to replace water pump alternator and a U joint. I know it’s just a regular maintenance stuff. I didn’t know issues. It still continues to run great
