Just picked up my 2018 KR after the two recall actions were performed. I dropped it off Thursday, Feb. 7 at 0830. Got it back today, Sat. the ninth at 1500. 3.5 Hrs? Anyway it seemed to drive ok. Didnt drive enough to notice anything different on the way home.Only 1500 miles on the odometer. So far I've averaged 20.7 mpg, mixed driving. Hope that improves a little. I've noticed on a few really cold mornings the starter drags on a little after the engine starts. Anyone else experience this. So far, love the truck. Can't wait to tow my boat to compare against my 2013 Platinum 3.5 EB.

This may need a new thread. RBaker- Regarding cold starts. What I heard on three separate cold starts was definitely starter over-run. What I'm wondering is if it just part of cold start strategy to ensure the engine will remain running. The more people who experience this, the more I would tend to think it's programmed in.

Update after recalls
We drove downstate yesterday.About 250 miles, appx. 165 of them on I-75. 55 to 60 mph on the two-lanes, 75-80mph on the freeway. We averaged 21.8 mpg for the trip. Up about 1 mpg after the ECM reflash. Was it the programming?
Only thing I noticed was some firmer shifts. Some noticeable wind noise on the right side, but that is a different subject. Liking the truck more each time I drive it.
