Is there a reason why you had the oil changed at 5000 miles? I thought most diesels including the baby stroke is a 10k operation but in severe cases you can change it at 5k mies. Either way I will be following my dash display.

Honestly, I am wondering about the performance claims done by some magazines. Car and driver ran the truck from zero to sixty in 6.x seconds through the quarter at 16 some odd secs. I am wondering if they did this in normal mode? This truck in sport mode feels extremely quick now probably not as quick as my STI but fast non the less. I know it is faster than the 2.7 and normal 3.5 eco boosts but it almost feels on par with the old 6.2 liter in my gen 1 Raptor. I swear the first time me and my wife hauled it up a hill it was like all that torque took over and a gas burner just can't do that. I filled it up with diesel today at a quarter of a tank for the same price I filled my old Raptor up. It was around the same price and this truck goes almost double the range. I am really loving this powerstroke so far and think Ford europe did an excellent job of bringing some great EURO engineering state side for a change.

LOL yes I am old-school and love the extra room without the massive console! Column shift baby! Plus it is a legal 6 place vehicle if I need it! :grin2:
I like it too, the bench seat makes things a lot better for hauling kids and for getting your significant other/ wife to get a little closer. I had buckets and the large console in my Raptor while it is a cool concept and the majority take that option I like the console shifter and bench seats better.

I do not know, I have owned several Subaru's including two STIs, Subaru of America is under a class action lawsuit for bearing/ ring land failures from several of the 12-17 STIs being modified to high HP numbers and the owners blowing their cars up. As part of the class action suit, owners such as myself receive an 8 year/ 100,000 mile warranty to any defect related to this failure as a power train extended warranty. If it was me then I would have the factory ship in a brand new 3.0 liter power stroke motor instead of a small block. If I am not mistaken these engines are specifically assembled in Ford Europe plant and then shipped here. I would want the same manufacturing process as in the OEM process.

That is just me though, they can swap the new crate motor out and then they do not have to disassemble and reassemble the motor.
