I just took delivery of my Platinum Powerstroke on the 23rd Feb it was built 9/28/18, it's got the following code and some blue smoke comes from under front of passenger door? What is the EGR TSB? Could this be why? Only 528 miles on it any thoughts would be appreciated. I also noticed coolant that had been sprayed onto the cover and surround ing areas.

Yes! Wow what a small world. They told me they fit delayed enroute and would it be ok if the driver showed up 3 hours later. I said no problem, and suggested to the salesman to tell the driver to accept my connection to the FordPass app and I could watch his progress. About two hours later, I saw the truck 'Active' in the app and also a pop up warning saying, " Vehicle Malfunction, Check engine light Illuminated". I called the salesman, it's now 5 CST and told him what I saw, he said, the driver told him about that and it's driving fine, and probably just an electrical issue".
The driver shows up, tells me the CEL is on but truck is running fine and I could take it to my local Ford dealer and they would take care of it. The gentleman was very nice and I didn't want him to not be able to take my trade and head back to Orlando. My trade was a 2018 Sierra SLT with 429 miles on it. No CEL on it!
I didn't drive it until the day, Sunday, and the CEL still on and noticed some light smoke coming up by passenger side door. I called the driver again Sunday, He actually stayed the night in a hotel in the panhandle and was on his way back to Mullinex Ford in Apopka. I asked him if he could tell me more about the CEL on my new Platinum Powerstroke so I could relay it to the local dealer when I took it in he told me he left the dealership and the CEL light came on, he was near Peacock Ford and was told to take it there, they worked on the truck for couple hours and then reset CEL. The driver left there and about 1.5 hours later, CEL light came on again! He called back to Mullinex and btold them and was told continue with delivery and the salesman, Al would call me and let me know. All I was told , because I called Al about the Malfunction alert on Ford Pass, the driver told them and it's probably just electrical and my local dealer would take care of it.
Needless to say, I was a bit disappointed I wasn't told the delay was because my new truck malfunctioned and was at another dealer for 2-3 hours and then on the road threw another CEL. So Sunday night I told Al from Mullinex, this information would have been important to share while signing for the truck with the driver as I wouldn't have accepted it and the truck would sit in my Garage until a Proper Functioning $65k F150 was in my driveway. Al understood, apologized and assured me all would be taken care of.
Yesterday, Al gave me 2 other 18's to choose one and will be swapped out. Al told me it would be delivered Thursday and as it turns out after getting a approval to drive the vehicle back no liability on me, I am driving to Orlando now for the swap.
I am leary about buying vehicles over the internet, but Mullinex's reputation helped immensely with that and so far they are living up to that. I am a little leary of going with the PowerStroke to be honest, but based on this wonderful Forum and everyone's shared information, I think it will be fine. I'll keep you posted!

I don't think it's dangerous but so far so good with Mullinex. It so far has made me feel great about this company. We shall see in a few hours. The Platinum 150 is amazing in the highway, massage seats and ride quality and creature comforts are amazing.

Warren the manager had us in a XLT Loaner, 1500 miles on it, the other Black Platinum is being driven from another Mullinex store and both PCM and EGR have been done. They will have it ready with spray in bedliner Thursday for us to take delivery. They have dedicated Diesel service department that it looks like you can eat off the floor! I'm sure whatever the issue is the CEL on the first one will be found and corrected with the experience they have. We'll visit parents in Englewood for two days and head back to Apopka to be United with our Road Ready Platinum! I did ask them to let me know when they diagnosed the first one so I could share on this Forum.
