My dealer agrees with you, they change the oil every 5000 miles. (No cost to me because of their lifetime powertrain warranty).

When I traded in my 2003, they swallowed hard and ask how long I planned to keep my King Ranch and I said no more than 20 years...

Good, you deserve it. I think I would stay with the 3.0 personally, all new engine introductions seem to go through growing pains. If we only didn’t need the EGR crap like Europe and most of the the rest of the world this would be a no issue.

The engine itself is tried and tested in Europe. It’s not the problem, just the ingestion of it’s own exhaust waste that fowls the oil and reduces MPG here in the USA.

I’d seriously think about getting a lawyer to represent your interest.

That is way too long for Florida’s lemon law I would think.

I’m from over by Jacksonville and have a really good dealer, free oil changes for life and DEF plus lifetime warranty on engine and drivetrain. Palm Coast Ford.

Good luck,
